Technology and Education, Why?

I am always excited about the opportunity to introduce technology as an aid to any situation. But the best job that I have ever had was running a technology program that taught teachers (K-12) how to use technology. This was so exciting and always rewarding because, the teachers were as excited as I was about teaching them. The actual instruction was delivered by a team of instructors that included me. Together with my co-workers we made them feel very comfortable with technology. And not only did they become comfortable with the technology, they understood that these were resources that could make them more effective in the classroom.
